The Group has been formed to restore the water wheel and corn mill in the village of Leighton, Shropshire. |

|
The mill was mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086 and was in constant use until the 1930s. From 1600 until 1763 there was also a blast furnace on the site producing cast iron. |

|
Leighton is on the B4380 between Ironbridge and Shrewsbury. |
