The Group has been formed to restore the water wheel and corn mill in the village of Leighton, Shropshire.

The mill was mentioned in the Domesday Book  in 1086 and was in constant use until the 1930s. From 1600 until 1763 there was also a blast furnace on the site producing cast iron.

Leighton is on the B4380 between Ironbridge and Shrewsbury.
